Strong promise was shown by the Ford Racing, Proton Competition squad in WEC Round 2 at Spa-Francorchamps when Ben Tuck took their #77 Mustang GT3 to a 3rd place grid slot in Hyperpole. Eric Powell built on that pace by taking the lead early in the race, before suffering a spin and a technical problem demoting the team down the order.
