TUCK TO COMPETE IN GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE WITH AL MANAR RACING AND BMW!
In another major development, Ben Tuck announces a second programme for the 2025 season as he signs on to compete in the GT World Challenge Europe for the 2025 season with Al Manar Racing by Team WRT and BMW alongside his FIA World Endurance Championship duties with Proton Competition and Ford Performance. The development comes after Ben’s superb win in the Dubai 24 Hours with the squad in January, and ahead of the next week’s GT World Challenge Europe Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Tuck will be competing in the Gold cup endurance events behind the wheel of the #777 BMW M4 GT3 Evo alongside team-mate Al Faisal Al Zubair, who was also part of the winning crew in Dubai in the same car, and also long-time BMW Factory driver Jens Klingmann who led Team WRT to its historic victory at Monza last season.
Tuck has already competed in a partial season of the GT World Challenge Europe when he drove with Kessel Racing in the Ferrari 296 GT3 in 2024 at Paul Ricard, Monza and in the 24 Hours of Spa demonstrating exceptional pace.
“I’m really happy to be back with Al Manar Racing and Team WRT this year.” said Ben. “Dubai [24hr] was a great result and they are a great team, and I’m looking forward to driving with Al Faisal again and also with Jens. We’re definitely aiming for some good results!”
Team WRT principal, Vincent Vosse is also looking forward to the new season: “Having made tremendous progress with the BMW M4 GT3 and having in place perfect cooperation with BMW M Motorsport gives us a lot of confidence. I am happy to announce line-ups that will be very strong in their respective classes, and proud once again, to give our trust to some of the most talented young drivers around.”
The 2025 campaign will officially launch with next week’s Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard. The same venue will host the season-opening Endurance Cup race on 13 April 2025.
